Questions

What is the biggest inspiration for your music?
We want to take grindcore from noise.

How and when did you get into making music?
Music is not our interest or goal.

What are your 5 favorite albums of all time?
Gerogerigegege, The Haters, Smegma, Arsedestroyer, and Airway.

What do you associate with Berlin?
Cheap falafel, Rumpsti Pumsti shop, and Hamburger Bahnhof museum.

What’s your favorite place in your town?
Maybe the Observatory in Griffith Park.

If there was no music in the world, what would you do instead?
No big deal.

What was the last record you bought?
At LUFF Festival, C. Spencer Yeh gave me a recent New Monuments CD. Haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet since we’re still on the road…

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
We’ve done a number of collaborations, recently we did a recording session on our last US tour with Jay Rand all and Chris Goudreau that is almost completed and we’re really satisfied with. It’s sort of a cross between noisecore, process and cut-up sounds, and noise.

Do you have siblings and how do they feel about your career?
I don’t think it is, really. We make things all kinds of ways.
